1. Advantages
1: The bearing capacity is relatively large. When the geometric dimensions and construction of the scaffold meet the relevant requirements of the specifications, the bearing capacity of the single pipe column of the scaffold can generally reach 15kN to 35kN (1.5tf to 3.5tf, design value).
2: Easy to assemble and disassemble, flexible to set up. Due to the easy adjustment of steel pipe length and the simple connection of fasteners, it can be used as scaffolding for various flat and vertical buildings and structures.
3: Relatively economical, with simple processing and lower one-time investment costs; If the geometric dimensions of the scaffold are carefully designed and attention is paid to improving the turnover rate of steel pipes, the material consumption can also achieve good economic results. The steel pipe bracket with fasteners is equivalent to approximately 15 kilograms of steel per square meter of construction.
2. Disadvantages
1: Fasteners (especially their screws) are prone to loss;
The tightening torque of bolts should not be less than 40N · m and should not exceed 65N · m;
2: The members at the nodes are eccentrically connected, transmitting loads and internal forces through anti slip forces, thereby reducing their bearing capacity;
3: The connection quality of fastener nodes is significantly influenced by the quality of the fasteners themselves and the operation of workers.
3. Adaptability
1: Construct various forms of scaffolding, formwork, and other supporting structures;
2: Assemble the cross frame;
3: Erect ramps, sheds, stands, and other temporary structures,
4: Assist with other types of scaffolding and strengthen the members;
4. Installation requirements
According to the setting of the connecting wall poles and the size of the load, commonly used open double row scaffolding has a horizontal distance of 1.05-1.55m for upright poles, a step distance of 1.20-1.35m for masonry scaffolding, and 1.8{{10}}m for decoration or both masonry and decoration scaffolding. The vertical distance of upright poles is 1.2-2.0m. It is allowed to be erected at a height of 34-500 meters. When set up in a single row, the horizontal distance of the poles is 1.2-1.4 meters, and the vertical distance of the poles is 1.5-2.0 meters. The allowed height for installation is 24m.
The longitudinal horizontal pole should be set on the inner side of the upright pole, and its length should not be less than 3 spans. The longitudinal horizontal pole can use docking fasteners or overlap. If the docking fastener method is used, the docking fasteners should be arranged in a staggered manner; If overlapping connection is used, the overlapping length should not be less than 1 meter, and three rotating fasteners should be set at equal intervals for fixation.
At the main node of the scaffold (i.e. the fastening point of the upright pole, longitudinal horizontal pole, and transverse horizontal pole), a transverse horizontal pole must be connected with a right angle buckle and must not be removed. The center distance between the two right angle fasteners at the main node should not exceed 150mm. In double row scaffolding, the extension length of the horizontal pole against the wall should not exceed 0.4 times the horizontal distance of the upright pole, and should not exceed 500mm; The horizontal bars at non main nodes on the homework layer should be set at equal intervals according to the needs of the supporting scaffold board, and the maximum spacing should not be greater than half of the longitudinal distance.
The scaffold board of the homework layer should be fully and stably laid, with a distance of 120-150mm from the wall; Narrow and elongated scaffold boards, such as stamped steel scaffold boards, wooden scaffold boards, bamboo skewer scaffold boards, etc., should be installed on three horizontal bars. When the length of the scaffold board is less than 2 meters, two horizontal bars can be used to support it, but both ends of the scaffold board should be reliably fixed to prevent tipping over. The wide bamboo fence scaffold board should be laid perpendicular to the longitudinal horizontal bar direction with its main bamboo reinforcement, and should be butt laid flat. The four corners should be fixed to the longitudinal horizontal bar with galvanized steel wire.
A base or pad should be installed at the bottom of each upright pole. Scaffolding must be equipped with vertical and horizontal sweeping poles. The longitudinal sweeping pole should be fixed to the upright pole at a distance of no more than 200mm from the base surface using right angle fasteners. The horizontal sweeping pole should also be fixed to the upright pole immediately below the vertical sweeping pole using right angle fasteners. When the foundation of the upright pole is not at the same height, the longitudinal sweeping pole at the high position must be extended two spans towards the low position and fixed with the upright pole, and the height difference should not exceed 1m. The distance from the axis of the upright pole above the slope to the slope should not be less than 500mm.
